The English Man from Caline is an inexpensive way to get that Plexitone sound. Get a great high gain 70s - 80s rock tone which cleans up really well. In many ways its more of a (Marshall) amp simulator than a distortion pedal. Has perhaps more gain than a standard Plexitone.

The CP14 has a solid metal housing with a true bypass footswitch. It runs off a 9v power supply or battery (not included).
