Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT & PRICING
Payment must be issued in full before orders will be dispatched. We accept the following payment method:
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£). Prices are VAT inclusive so will be priced exactly as quoted. Prices may change on the site without notice. We regret that sometimes stock may not be available which is quoted as being in stock on the website. However we'll try to keep these occasions to a minimum!
All descriptions and images on the site were accurate at the time of writing. However in relation to certain products (such as effects pedals) user experience may differ from our own. This is due to the different amplifier and guitar combinations on the market. The colour of the products may also differ due to differences in lighting and monitor settings.
No contract exists between SpartanMusic and you (the customer) before we send out a confirmation email of your purchase. This is due to potential differences in stock between the website and warehouse.
RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS
B2C (Us selling to an individual)
You may return your item if you are unhappy with your purchase within 14 days. You can do this if you change your mind about wanting the item; for defective goods please see below. Please contact us if you wish to do this. You will need to send the goods back to us to claim the refund. The goods must be undamaged, unaltered & resellable in their ordinal packaging. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods arrive back to us undamaged. You are responsible for any costs involved in returning the goods to us. It is best to send the product via signed delivery, otherwise if the product is lost in the post, you will be unable to claim a refund. You are responsible for the goods until they are safely returned to us.
For Spartan Music branded items if you discover a fault with your goods within the first 6 months, please contact us and we'll send a replacement, offer you a discount, or provide you with a full / partial refund. However the goods must be undamaged (apart from the fault), unmodified, and an attempt at repair must not have been made.
If you have had the goods for over 6 months we may still be able to offer you a refund. However in this case you will need to prove the goods were faulty at the time of delivery in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979. If the goods are proven to be faulty at the time of delivery we will offer you a full / partial refund which takes into account the use you have had from the goods so far.
If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure the product is placed in an alternative secure package. It should have sufficient padding and protection to avoid damage to the product.
Please contact us before sending any items back.
Goods must be returned using the postage method we state, or the cheapest available signed for postage method.
Refunds are processed in 1-10 days depending on payment provider.
B2B (Us selling to a business)
For the return of non faulty items a restocking fee may apply up to 20%. This is the fee charged to us by supplier contracts and not something we have control over. However please contact us to confirm as we try and be as flexible as possible.
You may cancel your order if the goods have not yet been dispatched. This cancellation request must be sent in writing via email. If the goods have already been dispatched then you can still return them within 30 days for a full refund (see above). However you will be required to pay delivery fees associated with returning the goods to us.
The ability to cancel the goods before dispatch is not guaranteed. Your email may not be seen until the goods have already been dispatched. We do not guarantee that an email will result in an order cancellation, however we'll do our best to make sure an unwanted order is not sent to you.
We are not responsible for the non fulfilment of our contractual obligations if they our due to certain factors outside of our control. This includes, but is not limited to Acts of God, riots, war, natural disasters, strikes, accidents, floods, fire, sabotage, or Governmental decisions.
We shall not be held liable for any injury or property damage resulting from the reasonable use of our products.
These products should not be modified or altered in any way unless done so by a professional. We are not responsible for any injury or damage caused through the owners modifications.
Any damages paid by us due to injury or damage caused will be limited to £100.
If any provision of these Terms shall be held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining parts of these Terms and the remainder of the affected provision shall be unaffected.
This is in relation to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). You may return your waste electronic equipment to us free of charge when you buy something from us that replaces it. For example if you bought a new effects pedal from us, you could send us your old, uneeded pedal free of charge (we would reimburse you for any delivery costs).
The WEEE must be returned to us within 28 days of purchasing goods from us.
This aims to cut down on the amount of electronics which are put into landfill sites. It also prevents potential harmful materials from leaking into the environment. Many of the WEEE can be repaired or recycled.
For the terms and conditions for delivery, please see this page. The terms on the “Delivery” page form part of these terms, and part of the overall agreement.
