What do I Need for a Basic Setup? 

We're gradually expanding our luthier tools and hopefully will have the full range of items you need very soon. Our goal is to be able to give you the tools you need to do a basic setup, at a great price. Sourcing more of our items in the UK is ensuring we keep the quality and accuracy there, while reducing costs (shipping metal is expensive).

For a bare minimum basic setup you’ll need:

• A truss rod wrench
• An Action ruler (we sell this)
• A Straightedge
• An under string radius gauge (we sell this)

This will allow you to work at adjusting the truss rod and bridge. You should also give your strings and fretboard a clean while the strings are loosened.
