The Yuki SE, Aune's new portable DAC with headphone amplifier, is equipped with the ES9280AC Pro DAC chip. The innovative dual-layer structure separates the digital circuitry from the analogue headphone amplifier circuitry. The 4-way balanced headphone amplifier circuit utilises 4×4 transistors to drive the output optimally. This high-quality "dongle" is the perfect addition to your smartphone, tablet, computer, laptop and console.
Most dongles use integrated designs where the amplifier chip is fixed, which limits the range of settings. Aune, on the other hand, has tested over a hundred combinations of transistors, resistors and capacitors based on their own understanding of audio and according to their own requirements. The result is a dongle DAC that consists of 16 transistors and forms the 4-way headphone amplifier that produces the desired sound.
