You can get some incredible and very unique tones out of the Dusk. Like other pedals in the Dr Scientist range, calling it simply a low pass filter pedal doesn't do it justice. At its core there are 3 modes - Cut, Envelope and LFO mode, but these in turn have alt functions. LFO is especially cool allowing you to create some deeply atmospheric space-y tones. The foot switches have functions of their own. The right switch has the standard bypass mode as well as preset cycle when holding. The left switch has a different function depending on mode and will perform sweep, freeze or tap tempo.
Also works with an expression pedal.
