We think this is one of the most underrated high gain pedals on the market. As always Empress have done an amazing job with this pedal. It has two main modes - Heavy and Heavier. The Heavy mode is great for adding more gain to a guitar and amp tone you already like. Even though it's called heavy, it's more like a medium to high gain. Heavier is, as you'd expect, more gain than you'd ever need. Each mode has a 3 band EQ as well as gate and freq control so you can dial in the type of distortion required. This gives you a good amount of tonal flexibility.
