The idea behind the new Topology Diaphragm was inspired by Dr Fang Bian's Ph.D. thesis that "different Nano materials have differing structures and each of those materials have its own properties". Therefore, by carefully controlling the diaphragm surface structure you can yield different results in acoustic performance to a degree previously unobtainable.

HiFi Man HE-R10D are closed-back headphones designed for a natural and detailed audio performance. It uses a HiFi Man’s Topology diaphragm design with 50mm dynamic drivers to deliver a sound not found in most true wireless headphones. The HE-R10 dynamic headphone cups are made from CNC woodcarving and aviation aluminium, which has a large internal space to provide sufficient volume and ‘breathing room’ to the powerful drivers.
