This is a utility pedal which functions as a mini effects loop within your chain. With the press of a foot switch it lets you add and remove one or more pedals from your chain. This for example could be useful if you've got some non true bypass pedals you want to isolate. Alternatively you could have 3 pedals which you always use at the same time. If you keep them on, this pedal can easily bring them all in without having to press 3 foot switches.
