The FZ-7 is great at creating some monster fuzz tones which are surprisingly diverse. It’s a bigger version of the FZ-10 Fuzz Star from the Baby Boom range but has the same features and sounds very similar. The FZ-7 perhaps has a little bit more mid range bite as well as some other subtle differences.

There are 3 main fuzz tones which can be changed with the 3 way selector – Muff, Bright and Warm. Then there are the Level, Fuzz and Tone which you can use to make further changes to your sound. This lets your get a range of fuzz tones from quite heavy to bluesy. Also try turning down you volume knob for more fuzz.

With the FZ-7 you get a very robust construction in a metal casing with true bypass circuitry. The it takes either 9v batteries or a 9v power supply.
