As you'd expect from Dr Scientist, this isn't just another fuzz pedal. It has two modes, the main mode and the extra high gain mode. This is changed by the left foot switch. The higher gain mode has a built in noise gate which is decreased the more you turn up gain. Sometimes fuzz can get a little lost in live situations, but the EQ really helps it cut through the mix.  The voltage control knob is especially cool; it uses a voltage starve control to give you a range of sounds from highly saturated to maximum headroom. This can be used with your volume knob for even more options. There's a trim pot inside so you can fine tune this to your specific guitar.
