The EHX Silencer is packed with utility and is perfect for reducing noise in your chain. Great at gigs for when you run into unexpected noise or know your chain adds some unwanted noise. Threshold dictates how much is needed to open the noise gate, Reduction changes how much is let through, and Release changes how fast the gate kicks in. It needs a bit of setting up, but once the controls are to your liking it should remove the noise. Has an added benefit of functioning as a fx loop.
