New FiiO BTR7 delivers exceptional audio clarity with a wide dynamic range and lower distortion, achieved by an independent audio circuitry consisting of Dual DACs + Low-Pass Filter + HiFi-grade THX amplifier chips.
The FiiO BTR7 comes equipped with Qualcomm’s QCC5124 BT SoC that supports the BT 5.1 protocol and formats like SBC, AAC, aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and LDAC.
Moreover, the BTR7 is a very capable All-in One device that offers Hi-Res USB Input capabilities, in addition to its lossless Bluetooth format support. The BTR7 will be equipped with a XMOS XUF208 chip that gives it the ability to work as USB DAC/Amplifier, which will support sampling rates up to 32 bit/384kHz and Native DSD256.
Premium Upgraded Dual DAC Chipset
The new FiiO BTR7 comes with dual ESS9219 SABRE DAC chipset with a 32-bit “HyperStream” architecture, which delivers a SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) of 118dB over both the 3.5mm Single-Ended and 4.4mm Balanced (TRRRS) outputs.
ES9219C offers better performance with better SNR, Dynamic range, and cleaner sound performance than earlier versions.
MQA Support
The FiiO BTR7 will support the latest MQA decoding to experience Master Quality Audio files. The source device should be loaded with MQA supported software such as UAPP, Tidal, etc.
Latest-Generation Mechanical-Grade Form Factor & Fully Balanced Design
BTR7 has got a fantastic solid form factor with a patented design. The metallic antenna is seamlessly integrated into the device. Its form factor is identical to the latest-gen devices from FiiO such as the M11 Plus series, and the M17 flagship digital audio player.
The FiiO BTR7 offers a fully balanced audio architecture, which means that each channel is driven separately. It comes equipped with both 3.5mm Single-Ended (TRS) and 4.4mm Pentaconn Balanced (TRRRS) balanced outputs.
THX AAA™ Amplifier Technology
The FiiO BTR7 have a THX AAA™ “Achromatic Audio Amplifier” design for a clean and powerful analogue output. The 3.5mm Single Ended interface will have an output of 150mW @ 32ohm, while the 4.4mm Balanced port will have 300mW @32ohm.
Built-in 1.3″ IPS Colour Display
BTR7 has an intuitive look with a colourful user interface and displays different functions like active bitrate, active volume, active BT codec etc. on its 1.3" IPS colour display, with a pixel density of 240×240.
And if you want to know, and access, even more options, you can do so very simply via the FiiO Control App available for iOS and Android.
Battery Life & Wireless Charging
The FiiO BTR7 comes with an 880mAh built-in battery that will offer up to 9 hours of continuous audio playback with the AAC over the 3.5mm balanced output. The charging process will take about 1.5 hours over the USB Type-C port.
New to the BTR series is the wireless charging support with the BTR7, recharge anytime anywhere with any Qi Protocol wireless charger. BTR7 is the first in the series to bring wireless charging to Portable Bluetooth DAC/AMPs.
Flexibility with cable options
As nice as Bluetooth is, sometimes it needs to be a bit more. For example, music in the highest quality as DSD256, MQA or simply PCM in 384/32 kHz/bit. To ensure that no detail is lost with such Hi-Res formats, you can also connect your smartphone, laptop or any other compatible device to the amplifier via a USB-C or Lightning cable (the FiiO BTR7 is available in two versions) and enjoy music in the highest quality.
Sometimes a cable just might be nice after all.
One-Click Dongle Mode
BTR7 can also be used as a Portable USB DAC/AMP. Users will be able to use it as a USB DAC with a simple one-click dongle mode. The switch is available on the side of the device, Simply press the “CHARGE” button with one click to switch into and out of “dongle” mode. Compared to the typical “dongle”, the BTR7 does not consume your phone’s battery power while still maintaining its great sound quality and large power output.
