This is a great pedal if you setup needs that extra boost or push in volume without compromising the tone. You can also experiment with placing it before other pedals such as distortion or overdrive. It can add a touch of saturation and gain. Inside the pedal there are dip switches for more gain and treble adjustments. Messing around with these the pedal can start to add gain past 12 o'clock.
