This pedal is a bit like a Mesa Boogie in a box. It's quite bass heavy with a touch of scooped mids and compression. On lower gain you get a nice warm crunch and the more you crank up the Gain knob the bassier and scooped it becomes. If this is your thing then great! If you want a touch less adjusting Tone can modify this slightly combined with a reduction in brightness.
