Definitely not a standard reverb pedal - even hall and room type tones are different than the sort of tones you'd expect from a standard reverb. It can go from subtle warm reverb to mind blowing cascades which make it an instrument in its own right; especially with expression pedal use. With Mode you have access to the following settings - Unquantized, Unquantized with Slew, Unquantized Volt/Octave, Chromatic, Minor, Major Lydian, Pentatonic, Octave and Fifths and Octaves.
