The Plumes has a boatload of volume at your disposal as well as a good amount of customability, even with very minor tweaks. It works well when stacked with another overdrive if you want to try something a bit heavier.

Mode 1 works best to add overdrive to your clean amp without muddying your tone. Mode 2 provides a clean boost and works very well with another pedal or just with a great amp tone you want to preserve. In mode 3 you get quite close to an original tubescreamer tone but with perhaps less breakup.
