The StageBug SB-1 is a great piece of equipment to use while gigging. It's designed for acoustic guitars with on board preamps, or instruments with passive pickups. It's a high quality active DI box which lets you run long XLR cables to the PA system without tone loss. It also has a polarity switch to help reduce feedback in live gigging situations and a ground lift to get rid of potential ground loops. There is also a thru-put for a tuner / amp.
