The Brad Paisley signature overdrive is excellent at country style Vox / Dr Z tones. He actually does use this pedal so it isn't really a simulator! It is very good at providing a transparent and responsive crunch to your setup. You have plenty of options for shaping your tone with the combination of knobs and switches. It does tube amp style breakup very well but can get silky smooth when dialled back too.
